 About the Practice

Mulcahey Occupational Therapy is a private holistic therapy practice located in Quincy, Massachusetts, and serving clients from all of New England.

At Mulcahey OT we specialize in helping children and adults achieve their goals through a combination of treatment approaches including

Integrative Manual Therapy, Yoga Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Functional Training.

Integrative Manual Therapy is a total body, hands on approach to therapy that is rooted in the belief in the body’s inherent wisdom and innate drive to heal itself, as well as the body’s inherent drive toward growth and development. With IMT, the body’s specific tissue systems (neurologic, connective tissue, musculoskeletal, just to name a few) are individually assessed for areas of function and dysfunction, as well as assessed for how one system impacts the others. From this information the appropriate treatment is applied, along with ongoing reassessment of the body’s response to treatment.

Every client receives a unique, individualized Plan of Treatment and an individualized Functional Training Program designed to achieve your goals.
